Reference: Twelve Dozen Stitches in Twelve Months
If you elongate the stem and leaves of this little flower, to about 3 times the length...you would have a very effective rendition of a cattail plant found in marshy areas. As it is, you still have a wonderful little border flower...not as "pointed" as Stitch #12 was, but very similar in style.
