Guess it's my turn...

The snow has just begun...
I have pre-salted my steps...just in case there were to be an emergency and I have go down, or someone has to go up. But, I plan to stay in until this all melts...the dog however is not. Ha!

Here's the view outside my kitchen window.

Not near the snow the rest of the country is getting...but enough for us to close down schools and most businesses here. When you live without snowplows or salt/chemical trucks...you just have to wait it out.

Luckily...in three days...it will be 60plus degrees again...weird weather!

Hugs, to all...

Consider yourself lucky. I live in the most southern part of Canada - just north of Detroit and at the same latitude as northern California. This winter we broke many low temperature records. What was worse were the strong winds - today's high was to be -9C but -27C with the wind chill factor. There have been many warnings for low temperatures, which means STAY IN if at all possible.
The amount of snow has also broken records.
I come from places where all this is normal. I have the appropriate clothing and the sense to use it so it is all good for me.

Thanks, Kathy, for the laugh. My husband and I had a great chuckle over your post. Here in Maine, we've had a bit more snow than that. I do understand, though, that you folks are not prepared for snow and, like you said, you just have to wait it out. Stay safe and warm!

I wished we only had 4 inches of snow!
Boston is closing in on a record this year … we had over 100 inches of snow in 2-3 weeks … when I went to work the other morning my car thermometer read -9F … yesterday was 24 and actually felt warm!!!
We are prepared (mostly!) for the snow - but you folks are not … so stay in … blink your eyes and you'll have warm weather! We will still be thawing out in May!!! Just means more inside time for quilting!
